On March 18 -19 the final women team selection tournament was held at Showa Park in Tachikawa City. Eight teams, which qualified through regional tournaments, battled for the honor of representing Japan at this year’s World Championship.
The winner team’s members are: 渡辺 真由美 / Mayumi Watanabe・清水 恭子 / Kyoko Shimizu・今泉 君子 / Kimiko Imaizumi・井上 まち子 / Machiko Inoue
